Our home has a wonderful view of the ocean and the mountains of Northern Vancouver Island. The ocean is at the foot of our property, where the water birds live and the eagles fly overhead. You can explore the cobblestone beach or stroll the finely landscaped gardens that surround the house. We are just 20 minutes away from downtown Port Hardy, British Columbia. The Oceanside
Suite - Your Home Away From Home
The Gathering Place As you sit at your table in the Oceanside Suite, you have a full view of the water and mountains. This kitchen is fully equipped, and features hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances just as neat as they come. Everything is brand new! A continental breakfast is provided, so that you may enjoy it from your Oceanside patio or kitchen table. Breakfast features fresh baked muffins or cinnamon buns, fresh fruit salad, juice, and the beverage of your choice. Tea is at 4:00 P.M. each afternoon on the main floor. All are welcome to come and have a visit.
Sweet Dreams A lovely comfortable room in the Oceanside Suite with lots of light, "Sweet Dreams" features twin beds, hardwood floors, a large closet, two bath robes, two luggage racks, convenient towel rack and an alarm clock.
Comfy Cozy This bedroom in the Oceanside Suite steps out onto a covered patio. My daughter, a light sleeper, always wants this room because she says it is the quietest room in the house. As with other rooms, it is equipped with hardwood floors, a large closet, two bath robes, two luggage racks, a convenient towel rack, and an alarm clock.

Galore! Enjoy the beauty of our grounds as well as the spectacular scenery of Holberg Inlet. We enjoy both gardening and the pleasure that our guests gain from the results.
Bed
and Breakfast Area - A Place to Relax Your Mind and Body There are many sitting areas at the Blue Heron Bed and Breakfast. On a cooler night, in the family room, we have the wood fire going. The living room is my favorite place for reading and watching birds in the garden. The T.V. room upstairs has an organ for you if you're interested in playing music. Out on the deck, you can drink up the view and solitude. Or walk on a path through our beautiful garden to the cobblestone beach below. Holberg Inlet, as seen below, can become your ocean playground! View Room Our upstairs Ocean View room overlooks the peaceful waters of Holberg Inlet and the snow capped mountains of Northern Vancouver Island. A good size closet has two luggage stands. The Ocean View room also has two bath robes and your own Blue Heron soap, alarm clock, and towel rack. A bathroom is shared. Rate: $95 per night double; $75 per night single.

Gracious Dining This charming, freshly-decorated dining room, with its spectacular oceanside setting, is a gem. Drink in the view as you drink your morning coffee! Breakfast includes freshly baked muffins or cinnamon buns, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, juice, and the beverage of your choice. Each day will feature a chef's special. To get to San Jo Bay, drive to Holberg (look for a left hand turn off Highway 19), then a short way farther to the Park Entrance.
